Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) – University of Sydney
After graduating in 2012, Albert started his professional career as a First Year Graduate at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. He treated patients with neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory and orthopaedic conditions. He then moved on to working in the private sector mainly focusing on musculoskeletal conditions. He’s area of interest are in shoulders, back and hips. He believes in finding the root cause of pain and injuries. By addressing those areas, he has been able to help many of his patients live pain free.
AKA ‘the body mechanic’ his services include; assessing and treating acute injuries, servicing and continual care through rehabilitation programs and strength and conditioning/functional training to improve performance and reduce risk of injuries in life and sports.
Albert was the head physiotherapist for multiple sports organisations including Odd socks weightlifting team, North Ryde Dockers AFL club, Penrith Emu Rugby Union team and West Sydney Berries FC. Currently in Singapore he is the head physiotherapist for the Men’s National Dragon Boat team.
In recent years Albert competed in Crossfit and weightlifting. In his spare time, he coaches weightlifting and participates in social bachata dancing in Singapore.
