Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)
Helen graduated from Curtin University in Western Australia.
Helen is experienced in a wide range of manual therapies, and compliments her treatments with strength and conditioning programs tailored to the individual where beneficial. She excels at this, owing to her passion and deep understanding of functional biomechanics allowing her to create targeted exercises to help you feel strong and confident in your body (Helen competed in and was awarded the best female powerlifter in the Australian Powerlifting Union state competition 2018).
In addition, Helen is also a Pilates (Polestar) trained instructor. She will goal set with her clients and create an individualised programme to prevent injury recurrence.
Since graduating, Helen has worked in a busy musculoskeletal practice, managing a range of clients of all ages from office workers to athletes. She has worked closely with football clubs over 4 years, and has worked in a private hospital setting in Perth on the surgical and acute-medical ward. Helen has developed a strong interest in post-operative rehabilitation, lower limb injuries and spinal conditions.
Amongst her other interests, Helen enjoys anything active, being outdoors and going on food adventures.
