Senior Sports Physiotherapist
Thye has worked as a physiotherapist for the last 11 years and has a special interest in sport injuries including lower limb, shoulder and lower back pain. He is an avid badminton player and runner. Qualifications: Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours (National University of Malaysia). Masters of Physiotherapy (Sports)(Curtin University of Australia) Experience: After graduated from Malaysia, Thye worked in various disciplines of physiotherapy in Tan Tock Seng Hospital for 5 years. This has prepared him to handle a wide variety of cases that includes neurology, geriatric, orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary and amputation. He moved on to work in private out patient clinic in Singapore for the past 6 years. He was the team physio for the Singapore Netball team from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Thye graduated from his master course in Perth, Australia. During his post-grad course, he had the chance to have placement at Perth Glory Football Club and learnt from the experts there. Before rejoining OrthomedPhysio, he worked for a short period in Singapore Sports Institute (SSI), treating only national athletes of Singapore. |
