Ng Chuen Thye
Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Honours), National University of Malaysia
Chuen Thye graduated from National University of Malaysia in 2009 and has been working in Singapore for more than eight years.
During his five working years in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he treated a wide variety of cases including cardiopulmonary, neurology, geriatric, and orthopaedic conditions. However, he is most passionate about sports injury and musculoskeletal cases.
Since 2015, he became the head physio for the Singapore National Netball Team and been travelling with them for all international tournaments and training sessions, including Asian Championship, Nations Cup, and Singapore Hong Kong Cup.
To continue to sharpen his skills and improve his physiotherapy knowledge, he has attended many courses including Mulligan, joint mobilisation, neuro mobilisation, dynamic taping, rock tape, dry needling and diagnostic ultrasound. He firmly believes that the active participation of the patient in the rehabilitation program can achieve the best outcome for the patient.
